Our physiotherapists are trained in the area of paediatrics and rehabilitation. They work on developing skills that promote mobility and independence.

Through the use of specialised equipment and resources and practical exercise programs for both the home and school setting, our physiotherapists work on developing skills in the following areas:

  • Gross motor skills – rolling, sitting, crawling, walking
  • Muscle strengthening
  • Postural control
  • Balance
  • Coordination
  • Gait training
  • Facilitating normal movements
  • Post-operative rehabilitation

Our physiotherapists also provide hydrotherapy programs. These programs are individualised and allow the person to perform exercises in a gravity eliminated environment, which reduces the strain on joints and promotes mobility.

Our physiotherapists provide intervention in the home, school and community setting to ensure the individual’s goals are being addressed across all environments.
